K-ETA Travel Information - Bukak Skyway (Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea)

Due to the incident on January 21, 1968, the Bugak Skyway Skyway was unavailable to the general public.
This is because 31 North Korean armed communists, including Kim Shin-jo, were banned from using it when they attacked the Blue House.

In Korea, this road is called Bukaksan 'Kim Shin-jo Route' and has been designated as a military control area for 41 years.
It was called the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) in Seoul because it was not visited by people, and it was a place where nature was kept intact.
According to K-ETA information, it was opened to the general public on February 27, 2010, and it has been transformed into a comfortable walking trail.

You can walk while looking at downtown Seoul, Mt. Bukhan, Mt. Bukak, and Mt. Inwang to match the name Skyway.
Many lovers visit here for a date using K-ETA because it gives the feeling of touching the sky at any moment.

The Bukak Skyway is about 3.2 kilometers long, so it's good to drive by car.
However, because the roads are winding, it can be a little dangerous for a beginner driver to come.

It has high ecological value and excellent natural scenery, so if you come near here, please visit it.
If you come in the evening, you will be able to see the wonderful night view of Seoul.
